Understanding what needs to be built
A set of drawings may describe the intention, but construction has to resolve that information against an existing property, physical dimensions, materials, access, programme, services and the work of different trades and specialists.
RH brings those elements together through the build. We manage the site, construction sequence and trades within our scope, while coordinating closely with the architects, interior designers, engineers and specialist consultants appointed to the project.
Comfortable in a multidisciplinary team
Complex homes involve more than one form of expertise. Architecture, interiors, structure, lighting, AV, joinery, landscape and specialist finishes may all influence the same part of a building.
We are accustomed to working within those teams. We understand when a construction question needs an architectural decision, when a specialist needs information from another trade and when the sequence on site needs to change to protect the finished result.
RH does not need to own every discipline to take responsibility for its role within the whole project.
A well-managed working relationship
Major construction can run for many months and involve a continuous sequence of decisions. Clients should know what is happening, what requires their attention and what comes next.
Clear information, direct communication, an organised site and respect for the property and its neighbours are part of doing the work properly.
