A modern two-story home with a master suite, second bedroom, and bathroom on the first floor and a fully renovated loft conversion on the top level, complete with an open-plan kitchen and living room on the ground floor leading to the landscaped garden.

The owners of this property approached our team to reinvent and expand their first home in Honor Oak. Initially, a two-story build our team transformed the loft space through a full conversion, an extension of the kitchen and living space, and a full architectural redesign and interior fit-out, fully reimagining the property from the ground floor to the top level.

Two young professionals, the couple were looking for a home to meet the requirements of their growing family. We opened up the ground floor creating a multi-use space that seamlessly integrated an intimate lounge area with an open-plan kitchen-dining area ideal for both down-time and entertaining guests.

The overhead skylight floods the space with light, alongside the bespoke floor-to-ceiling windows leading out to the freshly landscaped garden; a serene space for our clients to relish in.

Boasting modern sensibilities, the kitchen features muted mint green cabinets paired with slate-grey and pearl-hued herringbone tiles and brushed chrome appliances to create a sophisticated, practical, and versatile space. A mix of spot and decorative lighting throughout the room creates a sense of subdued opulence.

In the living space, black-stained bespoke cabinets add a sense of drama to the room, whilst housing the owners’ collection of decorative objects. Charcoal-accented furniture and soft furnishings draw the space together to create a contemporary relaxation hub.

Moving through the house we installed an updated staircase that tied in with the rest of the property; the black spindles and white banister were a nod to the ground floor aesthetic, offering a refreshingly segue between the rooms.

In the master bathroom traditional meets contemporary. The Edwardian-style sink and bathroom fittings combine effortlessly with the geometric, back-lit mirror, whilst the floor-to-ceiling lacquered ivory tiles promote a feeling of calm.

Planning to extend their family, our client’s main request was for more space. Our team completed a full loft conversion creating a clean canvas for use as a third bedroom. Bespoke cabinets were installed across one wall and staying in tune with adapting modern living requirements, we installed discreet aircon in the space for use in the summer months.
